Your menu stays with you

Rockin' Menus runs in your web browser. The names, prices and descriptions you type are saved only on your own device, in your browser's storage, so your menu is still there when you come back. They are not sent to us and we cannot see them, except when you use the special-menu helper described below. Clearing your browser data, or pressing "Start fresh," removes them.

The special-menu helper

If you use the optional step that sorts your menu into a gluten-friendly, vegan or allergy-friendly version, the item names and descriptions in your menu are sent to our server and then to an AI service, only to get the answer back. We do not save or log them. Nothing else from your menu is sent, and the step is used only when you press the button.

No accounts

There is nothing to sign up for, so we do not ask for a name or email address on this site, and we never see or store your card number.

Paying for a pass

If you buy a pass, you pay on a page run by Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe collects what it needs to take the payment, such as your card details and email for the receipt, and handles them under its own privacy policy. After you pay, our server asks Stripe whether that payment went through and then gives your browser a pass code. The pass code is kept in your browser's storage on your device. We do not keep a list of customers on this site.

When you pay, we also email you one link, sent from shore-ai.com, that brings your pass back on any browser. The link is only for you, as a convenience. It works until your pass ends and then stops. We do not keep your menus or your words, and we do not keep your email address: it is used once to send that email and is not saved on our server.

Visit counts

We use Google Analytics and Plausible to count visits and see which pages are used. They receive the page address without any query string, your browser and device type, and an approximate location. Plausible uses no cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies. Advertising features and ad personalization are turned off. What you type into the menu builder is never sent to either tool.

Hosting

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and page requests, for security and operations.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date above.
